Before relocating to Florida, Joe and his wife owned a high-end portrait studio in Maryland for nearly 30 years specializing in children, families, and high school seniors. Moving to Florida in 2012 gave Joe the opportunity to pursue his love of avian and nature photography on a full-time basis. What once was an exercise in an effort to avoid creative burnout has now become a body of work that defines who he is today as a photographer.
