Zoo Camps teach children about wildlife, introduce them to zoological conservation, and help them make new friends. Our education team is excited to welcome your future zoologists to our park as we participate in fun-filled single-day or week-long camps at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park. SINGLE-DAY CAMPS
Single-day Zoo Camps are open for students ages 6 to 10. Lunch and snacks are provided, or campers may bring their own. Please have your camper bring a small bag with anything they may need for the day. Suggested pack list: water bottle, closed-toe shoes, weather and outdoor camp appropriate clothing, jacket (if needed), lunch and snacks (if needed), daily medications.

SUMMER WEEK-LONG CAMPS
Week-long Zoo Camps are open for students ages 6 to 10. For students 10 – 14, check out our Venture Camp! Lunch and snacks are provided, or campers may bring their own. One camp shirt is provided for the week, and additional shirts are available for purchase. Please have your camper bring a small bag with anything may need for the day. Suggested pack list: water bottle, closed-toe shoes, weather and outdoor camp appropriate clothing, jacket (if needed), lunch and snacks (if needed), daily medications.

ZOORASSIC PARK

- Session I (most popular) – Ever wonder what a zoo full of dinosaurs would look like? Get ready to let that roar our, as campers will join us in checking out some of our “living dinosaurs” and learning about their ancient history!

- Session I (most popular) – It’s time to jump into the world of zookeeping! In this camp, we will study the habits and behaviors of our zoo’s residents. Campers will observe our ambassador animals, learn about training, and discover what animals need to lead healthy, fulfilling lives here at our park.
MYTHS AND MONSTERS

- Come explore how animals have shaped mythology and all of those fascinating bedtime stories throughout the ages! Why are coyotes’ tricksters? Do dragons really control the weather? Travel across the globe as we explore animal myths from around the world, all while meeting their real-life counterparts!
SHARKS AND MINNOWS

- Is “under the sea” your campers speed? In this camp, we will look at the wonders of the ocean and learn all about the amazing predator and prey relationships in the big blue. Be sure your camper is ready to get wet, as we will have plenty of water-related activities throughout the day.
IT'S A PIRATES LIFE

- Avast ye maties! Join us for a week of swashbuckling fun as we explore the ins and outs of a pirate’s life. Are you ready to set sail as we learn about famous pirates and their buried treasure? Let’s hope we don’t run into and crocodiles…tick..tock…time to decide if it is a pirate’s life for you.

- Does your camper enjoy the “yuck” side of science? In our grossest camp ever, we will dive right into the stinky, slimy, dirty parts of the animal world. This camp is very hands-on, so make sure your camper is ready to roll their sleeves up and get down and dirty at the Alligator Farm.

All Zoo Campers must follow zoo rules. Campers must: wear closed-toe shoes with a back (no clogs/Croc-like shoes); follow the instructions given by zoo staff; take part in all scheduled activities; stay with the group at all times; be respectful of others including staff, other campers, and animals; keep their hands, feet, and objects to themselves. No running or horseplay is permitted. Before and aftercare are not provided.
